Medical Standards for Joining NDA

Candidates must be physically fit as per the physical standards prescribed for admission to the National Defence Academy and Naval Academy. The candidate must be in good physical and mental health and free from any disease or disability which may interfere with the efficient performance of military duties. There should be no evidence of weak constitution, bodily defects, underweight, or obesity. The minimum acceptable height is 157.5 cm, while for Air Force candidates it is 162.5 cm.
